This RIBA Chartered firm is expanding rapidly and is on the lookout for a passionate, driven individual to become part of their dynamic team.
Founded six years ago, this practice has built a reputation for delivering competitive and comprehensive architectural services. Today, they operate with a talented team of 18 from a modern office, offering breath-taking views of York’s historic landmarks.
Led by two award-winning partners with extensive expertise in the commercial, residential, and care sectors, this practice fosters the perfect environment for personal and professional growth.
In this role, you’ll be fully supported as you work towards your Part 3 qualification. This practice has a track record of supporting its junior members with the success of their Part 3 milestone.
You’ll gain hands-on experience working on retirement living projects, one of the UK’s fastest growing sectors, alongside healthcare projects too.
Furthermore, you’ll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with their office in Australia, adding an international perspective to your career.
The salary for this position is between £27K – £30K depending on previous experience.
Your role as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
- Produce tender package drawings
- Assist in planning applications and various RIBA stages
- Provide information for site meetings
- Work closely with Senior Architects
- Run and manage your own projects
To be considered | Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
- Previous experience as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in the UK would be favourable
- Should live within a commutable distance to York
- Knowledge of Revit is essential
- Should enjoy working within the retirement and healthcare sectors
