£55,000 – £65,000 DOE + 25 days + BH + 1 day Hybrid (after probation) + yearly generous discretionary bonus + Bupa healthcare + basic dental cover + lunch reimbursement (site visits over 6 hours) mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile + cycle-to-work scheme + electric car scheme + retail discounts + 4:30 pm finish on the last Friday of the month

A fast-growing consultancy in Essex is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Project Management Team. Specialising in the Education and Healthcare sectors, this dynamic firm delivers a wide range of construction, mechanical, and electrical projects, including new builds, fire door renewals and cladding replacements.

The Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• Managing project finances to ensure cost control and adherence to budgets
• Leading the tendering process, including document preparation and contractor selection
• Overseeing contract administration, procurement, and change management
• Conducting valuations, risk assessments, and financial reporting
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and project teams to drive successful project outcomes
• Cover Essex home county, some travel to London and other UK areas if required.

The Ideal Candidate

• An experienced Chartered or Quantity Surveyor
• Healthcare, Education or property experience
